Dean Democrat

Who will finally say ENOUGH, what republican

Mon Jul 09, 2007 at 03:35:17 PM PDT

from the top or the middle or the bottom of the power structure in this White House will find the courage to do the right thing.  When powerful politicians and conservative editors cover up the behavior of this administration, those in charge of informing the public who instead, state the administrations opinions as if they were fact, those who call this president brave because he sticks to his guns and will not be swayed.  Who will stop rationalizing this completely incompetent man who behavior is like that of a spoiled child, a man who should be led out of the Whitehouse and sent back to Texas or perhaps a jail cell, immediately, for the good of the country.

OBESSION WITH HIS LEGACY... BUSH IS PATHETIC

Sat Jul 07, 2007 at 03:56:05 PM PDT

Bush, so obsessed with his "legacy", he's having tea parties to  schmooze "One at a time or in small groups, he summons leading authors, historians, philosophers and theologians to the White House to join him in the search.  Over sodas and sparkling water, he asks his questions: What is the nature of good and evil in the post-Sept. 11 world? What lessons does history have for a president facing the turmoil I'm facing? How will history judge what we've done? Why does the rest of the world seem to hate America? Or is it just me they hate?"  (article By Peter Baker, Washington Post Staff Writer, Monday, July 2, 2007; A01).

OLBERMANN, let's send positive reinforcement for his great work

Fri Jul 06, 2007 at 06:13:54 PM PDT

His piece last week where he called Bush a LIAR, it was just explosive...  Olbermann was the first of the few who had the coconuts to be this hones, this outraged and this blunt, let's make sure his bosses know how important he is

GIVE RON PAUL $$ TO SEND OUR MESSAGE

Sun May 27, 2007 at 09:34:19 AM PDT

Come on folks, let's have a little fun.  Remember when the republicans supported Ralph Nader?   Why was it so brilliant??  Because the strategy worked!!!!!!  Nader, like Ron Paul, could never win.  But his running...  with the support of the Republican party (who not only gave him amazing press coverage but lots of money), I believe lost Gore the election.  If Gore had won with a larger number he would have had enough votes to insulate himself from the all out war the republicans waged to keep democratic votes from being counted.

Al Gore, why he's 'the one'!!

Wed May 23, 2007 at 09:25:57 AM PDT

And why it is so important that he be our presidential candidate.  .

I am tired of the Democrats and their fear of calling this administration and this war exactly what it is, a nightmare.  The collective conscience of America right now doesn't seem to be able to accept just how bad, how tragic and how catastrophic this war is.  With almost every presidential appointment a 'cronie', Bush filled the administration with unqualified yes men/women who are either resigning, under investigation, pleading the 5th, obviously lying about their memory, getting arrested, or being asked to testify against those that are now under investigation.  We have lost all faith in our most important institutions, most important in that group, our judicial system.

Sen. Webb, the man Bush pretends to be!

Tue Apr 17, 2007 at 10:00:10 AM PDT

Please, let's talk again how Webb told the idiot in the white house that it was not his business how his son is doing in Iraq.  'Even though Webb is to the right of me, DAMN HE'D BE A GREAT PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE.  He EARNED the right to make the tough calls, he doesn't have to dream about being a famous and well loved hero, he put the time and the pound of flesh in to deserve his place in History....  NOT by having other people's children killed and order the massacre in the desert....

Obama Lack of Exerience, completely wrong

Sun Feb 11, 2007 at 08:13:50 AM PDT

I am sick to death of hearing the Hillary, Edwards and the entire pack of the democrats about to pounce on Obama´s supposid ´lack of experience¨

Well, here´s how I evaluate the experience of those running for office, one about to inherit a country facing several catastrophe´s, someone fearless with the ability to make the very tough decisions that must be faced the next president. It´s very simple.

I am sick of the Sunday news shows BULL SHIT

Mon Dec 04, 2006 at 10:08:15 AM PDT

Did anyone see Chris Matthews Sunday, yesterday.  It was shocking. I wish Pinicus (Washington Post) would send a memo to the Chris Matthews Sunday show because the crew of press people who spoke this past Sunday with Andrea Mitchell running the show, were UNBELIEVABLE.

SEND DEAN $ ON THE 1 MONTH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ELECTION? OR???

Thu Nov 16, 2006 at 12:25:45 PM PDT

to send a message to Hillary's lap dogs who not only refuse to give Dean the respect he deserves for changing the party from the ground up but have the gall to try to force him from the his position as head of the DNC in a year that we won back the house and senate.

Is Obama going to Nashville Sunday?

Sat Nov 04, 2006 at 06:17:35 AM PDT

I have family members in the Nashville area so if Sen. Obama is going to be there tomorrow, I would love to know where and when.

I just gave the Harold Fords campaign $$ & it feels good.

Fri Nov 03, 2006 at 09:06:08 AM PDT

The polls are driving me crazy.. they go up.... they go down.... but, it isn't over until it's over.  Our family has already given as much money to candidates as we can afford but I had to cheer myself up

NO TORTURE, write senators & congress, make some noise

Fri Sep 22, 2006 at 02:10:03 PM PDT

NO TORTURE, NOT NOW, NOT EVER.  Maybe it's because we've lived with such outrageous insanity for the past 6 years that we're not flipping out about this legalizing  torture crap.... but people .... HELLO.... what has happened to us, why are we not marching in Washington or New York or everywhere in America over this latest outrage, to change the Geneva Convention and support torture.  Have we become so desensitized that we are just not hearing it clearly??  Another big question.. WHERE IN THE HELL ARE THE DEMOCRATS????

GORE/CLARK now, more then ever... why we need this ticket!!!

Mon Jul 31, 2006 at 05:42:58 AM PDT

Now, with the middle east blowing up before our very eyes, we need a leader.  How about a man with 8 years experience in a great administration, one that not only had many successes internationally with respect to foreign policy but who did a great job domestically... here on the home front?  This country is desperate for a leader, a great presidential candidate.. and I think the only person with the experience and the gravitas to clean up the mess Bush has made on all fronts, the brains and the experience of Al Gore.

Associated Press, "soldiers killed by Iraqi Patrolmen"

Wed Jun 21, 2006 at 07:34:49 AM PDT

Please Note, this post is not about the two soldiers who were killed and mutilated over the last few days. It seems the death of two American soldiers will have to be pulled from the Republicans infromercial  they've been performing in the Congress & Senate for days now. This incident occured in 2004 and involves a joint patrol of American and Iraqi "civil defense" troops  Again the republicans are using their excessive power running the house, the senate and the white house, to exploit this war and our brave soldiers.  Their rant all day yesterday was "lets avenge the deaths of our  soldiers"   well, it's a little hard to pull that off when the killers are the ones we trained, they are  supposedly on our side.  How much do we pay daily to train these troops???

Why Gore/Clark is the best choice

Mon May 15, 2006 at 09:49:32 AM PDT

All the Sunday News shows automatically assumes that Hillary is going to be the Democratic Nominee for the 2008 presidential election.  As much as I hate to admint it, I do not believe American would elect a woman president.  Ask the American people face to face, "would you vote for a woman for president"?, they'd all be shamed into saying "oh yes, of course I would" but put them in a voting booth, all alone, I believe the people in this country would never elect a woman, especially at a time of war.  The only other candidates mentioned by the media are Bidden, Bahy and Sen. Feingold (great guy, can't win)

When David Brookes says Bush is 'radioactive" you know the shift has started!

Thu Mar 02, 2006 at 02:56:08 PM PDT

I just heard on the NPR drive home show (maybe "All Things Considered")  David Brooks and E. J. Deonne were being interviewed, towards the end of the interview Brooks says "George Bush is Radioactive.

While I almost had an accident I was so delighted, I'm remembering a Chris Matthews Sunday morning shows, right after Katrina, Brooks and Andrew Sullivan were shredding Bush.  I was pretty when Brooks said something like 'Bush is the past, we need to move forward to the next leader'.... well sure David, we all would have loved to do that, unfortunately we were only 5 minutes into his second term.

Here's why I think Clark is the only Democrat who can beat a Republicans:

Fri Dec 30, 2005 at 08:24:36 AM PDT

http://movies.crooksandliars.com/...

Here's a clip of Wesley Clark (on FOX no less), stating the facts and he does not back down, not even a little bit.  I would like to know anyone who has heard any candidate speak this honestly about this war, democrat or republican.  This is amazing and more people should be checking it out.  (much more below...)

Tell the president what you think, here's the address, plus...

Mon Dec 19, 2005 at 10:21:49 AM PDT

Let's learn from the religious right.  Whenever anything comes out of the White House (or Senate or Congress) that they do not agree with, they have their army of crazies call & write all three of the above institutions.   We need to let this president know that his push to get support for the patriot act and support for his war,  is not going to happen.  We also need to ask Democrats to get off their asses and do something... support Murtha, support the troops by bringing them home, no patriot act.

Also, the triangulation by the top contenders for the Democratic presidential primary has gone on for far too long.  If we don't start letting them know that we do not want another "Kerry" or the old "Gore" style presidential race, they will never get out of the middle of the road.. so, loud and clear:  no more patriot act, no more war, no more trying to have it both ways.

Call and email the White House and your Senators & Congress members. Phone numbers and email & addresses below:
